Every week, Grey's Anatomy builds beyond all its previous episodes and leaves me with two questions:

1) How it is it even possible to hate a fictional character as much as I hate, hate, hate McDreamy?

2) OMG WHY IS GEORGE THE BEST BOY EVER!1!!!!!!!111?

1) The only good thing about hating McDreamy this much is that every time he's in a scene with Meredith, I actually start to like her a little. This is good, since I feel really weird about hating a title character.

This was a kickass episode. I mean, I literally sat on the edge of my seat through many parts of it and jumped with an oh fuck when the bomb went off. I really never expected that to happen.

I adore Christina and I'm warming up to Meredith. George is a wonder. It's a shame McDreamy didn't go up with the blast instead of the cute bomb guy. Idiot.

The writing was fabulous as usual, but I loved how they paralleled the beginning of the show with the sexy shower scene with the comfort shower at the end. They did parallels throughout, which I always admire as a great attention to detail.

And Christina said she loved Burke, admitted it. Doesn't matter if he was sleeping or not, she said it out loud.

1. See, I don't hate McAllegedlyDreamy. Much. Okay, I do. But I hate Meredith more, so it all evens out. Or something.

2. It is not our place to ask why, only to love him as he deserves to be loved.

Mostly, though, the thing about Grey's Anatomy? Is that it turns me into a fucking girl. With the saying "aw" every time George does something, or is there, or is mentioned, and the wanting to have his babies (and I don't want to have anyone's babies, ever, thank you very kindly) and the tearing up when Addison was yelling at him. I mean, I never cry over television. (Okay, so there was this one time, but there were extenuating circumstances. My grandfather'd just died. That so doesn't count.) Um. Yeah.

See, that's fair -- it's different from my hatred, but I can totally see it and understand it.

I tend to flail through large portions of the show. I have to give up and just, like, embrace the estrogen.

See, what I'm still stuck on is, I don't understand how "McDreamy" is in any way a clever name. I could undertstand it if his real name were McDryer, or if he at one point worked in fast food, or if this were real-life wit and not the wit of a scripted drama, or something. But!
