I have finished season two of Farscape. Here is my reaction:

!!!!!!!!!!!!

This show. This show omigod. I don't -- I can't even. I really. Just. God.

I'm going to go flail in the corner for the next week, okay?

P.S., if you wanted to quit it with the tons and tons and tons of GROSS EYE STUFF, I would not really mind.

Just wanted to smile in your direction and say -- it's the crackiest crack ever invented, isn't it? The LGM trilogy murders me every time. Murders me TO DEATH.

...and season three? Holy God. I spent a whole day at [livejournal.com profile] hesychasm's house while she was at work watching 2/3rds of it. It reinvents the term "crack."

I swear to God your fannish specialty is in coming way hella late to the party, miha.

*hugs*

So Jake 2.0 might be... what, 2009 on the current schedule?

Hee. Actually, you know, I think I am pretty evenly divided between stuff I am way behind the curve on and stuff I pick up pretty quickly. For every due South and Farscape, there's Smallville and Veronica Mars and Grey's Anatomy, you know? And for both due South and Farscape there were accessibility issues that needed to be overcome (ie, available dvds or torrents). Whereas Jake 2.0 is accessible, and I just don't seem to care, you know?

I wince in the same places everytime. I scream at the TV in the same places everytime. It's one of my all time favorite eps of television:) I'm not entirely sure that reflects well on me:)

Hehe. Ditto on the gross eye stuff.

Isn't this the bestest series ever? I bought a friend s1 & s2 for xmas a couple of years running, but then it was on special for $42 Australian dollars a season (which is 25 cents US I think) and I bought him the other two seasons and all four for myself. I've hit a stop half-way through s3, but that's 2.5 seasons in two months. I think a break is called for.

::flails a little with you::

So much gross eye stuff, man! Needles in the eyes, pulling out and sticking in drugs, gouging them out -- HELLO SQUICK. Hee.

Okay, now you have to start cut tagging your entries, because you are catching up to me in canon, and if you spoil me, I will defriend you. I love you a lot, but if you spoil me, I WILL DEFRIEND YOU.

Oh yeah, you're getting into the Good Stuff now. [bwahahahahaha] Only, you really ought to pause for a little Moment of Silence for the poor elderly fangirls who were lucky enough to be watching it first-run, who at this point had to wait TWO FRELLING MONTHS for the next episode (and during the hiatus read at least one Ben Browder interview in which he lamented how much the loss of Aeryn had changed the dynamic of the show, and how strange it felt to be filming s3 without Claudia.) (Of course, you realize that this was during the period when we had to trudge for miles through the snow, on our little bare bleeding feet, uphill both ways, to get to the good smut, and we didn't yet have the hot leather stills from the s3 publicity shoots to keep us warm... Given the incredible hotness of the CANON HET OTP, there was a ridiculously tiny proportion of explicit fic around during the first three seasons.)

(Oh, and the gross eye stuff? I tell myself that, along with the vomit jokes and the incendiary pee, it's probably keeping the pubescent boy viewers coming back... who are then sexually imprinting on Aeryn, thereby making the dating world a better place for the next generation of powerful women.)

Also, have the puppets at least made you laugh, yet?

elderly yours, Aunt Robyn

Ahahahahahaha, EVIL.

I am actually good with all the puke and piss and other bodily fluid stuff, really. Eyes just happen to me an automatically "eeeeep, SQUICK" attack for me.
