I just read another article about how he is feeding her red hot curries every night to force the birth along. It's not even the scientology that's so creepy, really, it's the whole "puppet on a string with no free will or sense of self" bizarre gender roles. EEP.

So, I had to look up the silent birth thing, because, hello, creepy.

According to this lady (http://www.geocities.com/kiduniverse.geo/scientology-silent-birth.html), it's not that you have to make NO NOISE, but people aren't suposed to randomly chitchat. Which isn't nearly as bad.

I think cruise is just insane. It's always the nutso ones that think they're the only sane ones left...

You don't even know me (surfing through friendsfriends) but I have to comment on the Cruise/Holmes thing, because I am sickly fascinated by the whole debacle and cannot look away, like passing the scene of an accident. Frankly I don't care what the rules of Scientology say - whether it's not noise at all, or no idle chitchat or whatever - but the *last* thing I would want/need in the middle of childbirth would be worrying about somebody else's rules about how I was supposed to behave. Sorry, but especially some guy. No, I was too busy, you know, with LABOR.
