I have now officially finished all of Farscape season 4.
I'm ... not quite sure what to do with myself.
That was quite possibly the cruelest, bizarrely brilliant, most unexpected mindfuck of a series finale ever. And the previouslies were just amazingly gorgeous. Wow. And SERIOUSLY, John and Aeryn? OT-est-P EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER.
I maybe could have lived without ever seeing Sikozu/Scorpius sexplay, though.
That's all the show there is. There isn't anymore.
*watches torrent for Peacekeeper Wars with big, big eyes, because then it will REALLY be over*

15/4/06 14:38 (UTC)What's interesting is that apparently the head guy was given the option by the Sci Fi channel to cut those last couple of minutes from the ep and end the series with John proposing and Aeryn accepting. Sure Chiana would still have been blind, etc but... as and ending it could have worked and not made fans crazy (talking as someone who watched from the first ep on in real time). He chose to air the whole thing and fans kind of exploded or imploded or whatever violent reaction of choice you want to toss in there. And that's probably what made Sci Fi give us the mini series. It was a gamble though and not one I'm sure I appreciated in the time between the finale and the mini series, as someone who loyally watched for 4 increasingly freaky years.
