Okay, I don't watch SG-1 at all, but Morena Baccarin is playing Claudia Black's daguhter? Seriously? That's just hot, dude.
Dear internet, I am very sleepy. How are you? Tell me about Fraser and Kowalski having hot sex!

10/5/06 04:25 (UTC)Well, Fraser and Kowalski have sex.
Ray isn't going to, really—no, honestly, he wasn't. Not because he doesn't want to, because of course he wants to, being as he isn't blind (and also being that Fraser is really, really hot, even when he's talking about historical sound change), but because—well.
Because it's kind of sleazy, that's why. Not the really bad kind of sleazy, not fucking dead bodies or having some sort of psychosexual fixation on cabbage, but the kind of sleazy that might maybe get him fired, if they got caught. Which they would, because Ray Kowalski is many things, but subtle is not always one of them.
And if Ray leaves this place—the books and the spires and the sharp, crackling agression of too many smart people and not enough office space—it will be because he gets sick of it, not because they throw him out.
And that's why he isn't going to have sex with Fraser.
Fraser, though—Fraser just stares at him, all through the lecture Ray gives on language acquisition and development, stares at him with this intense, open blue gaze that makes Ray crumple his notes and fidget with his glasses. It's all very approving-professor, and it makes Ray just want to roll over and beg for it, and yeah, he knows exactly what that says about him, he's dated his fair share of psych majors. Ray doesn't stare back—he can't, christ, he can't do any more than glance over at Fraser every couple of slides, just checking in, resisting the fire that's running up his spine, explaining the idea of an isolated language module with a mouth that, in a just world, would be biting Fraser's neck.
And after class, when the undergrads are filing out, giving Dief a last pat on the head, waving coyly at Fraser, then. Oh, then Fraser gets up and walks toward Ray, who's bent over inside the A/V cabinet, disconnecting the projector with hands that shake, and just—stands—there, radiating heat and the smell of clean sweat. But, hey—nothing to worry about here, right? because Ray and Fraser aren't going to have sex.
So Ray turns around, the picture of the unconcerned grad student, and Fraser's still right there, his hands resting on the frame of the cabinet, trapping Ray there, blocking all the light, muffling all the sound, and still looking at him.
"Come back to my hotel," Fraser says, and christ—Ray's mom always says that he majored in linguistics because that was the only place that would let him talk as much as he wanted, but right now? he doesn't know what the hell to say.
So he swallows, and nods, and says "Yeah, sure, just let me—", going to pack up his laptop, only Fraser doesn't step back when Ray steps forward, so they're chest-to-chest, breathing each other in, and Fraser kisses him, just the once, licking just inside Ray's lower lip and bringing one hand up to rub behind Ray's ears. Then he steps back, pulls away, and his eyes are piercing and hot and Ray hopes to hell he didn't do any permanent damage to the laptop, because it got packed away faster than ever.

10/5/06 05:32 (UTC)(OMG I KNOW AREN'T THEY THE BESTEST?)
...god, and now I'm going to stare at the AV cabinet and imagine Fraser bracing himself on the doorframe while Ray looks up at him and they both go all gooey from lust (and the linguistics, of course).
