WEEKEND YAY.
14/7/06 10:39Math midterm: 0. Erica: 1.
WOOT.
This despite the fact that the test was 8 problems long, and I spent 25 minutes of seven of the problems, and 20 minutes trying to remember how to do the one damn word problem.
(Word problem in question: "You have a one quart mixture that is 40% olive oil and 60% balsamic vinegar. How much of the mixture do you have to pour out and replace with pure olive oil to get a mixture that is 50% olive oil and 50% vinegar?" We totally did a problem just like this in class two weeks ago, but I have forgotten it TOTALLY. I ended up solving it backwards and getting the equations for the variables that way; I ended up with 5/14 quart as my answer.)
My shower has no water pressure. I feel so gross and icky! Wah.
Obligatory comics content: so in the DCU -- there's a giant sentient gorilla and a brain in a jar who are gay for each other? Really? I just. I don't know what to do with that information.
Also, I love how in any comic book ever that includes Bruce in it, even for a single panel, you can TOTALLY tell that drawing Batman is their favorite thing in the entire book.
