Bruce Wayne Murderer was kind of boring for the most part, but Nightwing 65 gave me the first experience of hating the art so much it HURT MY SOUL.

Robin: Year One was good, too, but, um. Apparently reading too much about Dick's childhood at any one time ALSO hurts my soul! Who knew? It also has the interesting effect of pages like this which make me blink and blink and then go "...Bruce, that is a TINY TINY BOY. Why do you have a TINY TINY BOY leaping through the air and FIGHTING CRIME? What is WRONG with you? How is this not a HORRIBLE IDEA?" And then I giggle over the fact that I somehow don't generally think thta everytime I see a Robin.

Last night also included Te and others inducting me into more of the mysteries of the scary bat god. I had to remind them quite firmly that making me cry and hide under the covers was a bad strategy for pimping their fandom.

You know, this is where I realize that I'm just totally out of synch with most of batfandom, because I look at that and go...bad touch how? All I see is a friendly hand on a shoulder.

Which, I suppose, just proves Burke's point about lenses, which is why I have this icon ;).

Hee! You know, I actually don't see anything badtouch about the GK22 page, either? That's possibly because the idea of Bruce/Steph scares me, but mostly it just makes me go 'aww.' But the last time I said that about something, Erica totally called me a sissy, so. ;)
