I just had a whole little moment where I used the word "fetching" in someone's comments, and then thought about how much I liked that word, and then about how it was really a kind of a Fraser-y word, and then remembered the whole scene with Ray and Fraser in the car in "Doctor Longball" where Fraser tells Ray how very fetching his poncho is.

OH FRASER. WHY MUST YOU MAKE ME LOVE YOU SO? <3<3<3<3<3.

I truly believe F/K is the OTP of my heart forever.

I am in an odd mood tonight; I find myself once again craving Vecchiofic that I can't find anywhere. I have accepted the fact that Vecchiocest is wrong and bad and no one but me has the slightest bit of interest in it, but where oh where is all my teenage Vecchio gen or het fic? I want church and Catholic school and taking care of his little sisters and sneaking into Irene Zuko's bedroom and avoiding his Pop only to get smacked around sometimes AND ALL OF THAT AND MORE. Fandom, why will you never do my bidding? I could bribe you with things! Really!

Just so you all know, I am going to keep pimping weekend_battle until you all start writing me stuff. BEATINGS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL MORALE IMPROVES. Does nobody have any F/K or threesome or Wilby or Grey's or anything they feel like writing snippets of porn about? There are some intriguing prompts -- AC/DC, Bombshell, El Dorado, Freakshow, Knee-high, Peppermint, Snow, Wallflower -- not to mention a bazillion more.

Hee! It's funny you should mention Vecchio fic, first of all, because I'm failing miserably at my first F/V ever, and second of all, brooklinegirl and I were chatting the other day, and you came up, and I said you were into Ray/Frannie, and she said you talked about it, and I said, "No, she WROTE it."

And I read it. And, uh, yeah...didn't hate it, so yay?

Heh, you and me both. I swear, if I were any kind of writer whatsoever which I'm NOT, I would write the story where wee!Ray breaks a priceless family heirloom or scratches the car or something bad along those lines, and when Pop comes home, wee!Frannie takes the blame for it because she knows the worst Pop will do is yell at her and send her to her room without supper; he wouldn't beat her with a belt like he would have beat Ray. And wee!Ray sneaks some leftover food upstairs to her and calls her a moron for lying to Pop, and swears to himself that never again will he sit by and let his sister protect him.

I will totally read Vecchiocest! Not so much because I am interested in the 'cest, but because it is fic that has RayV in it. I am easy like that.
