me: Here is my tiny Midsummer story! Make it not suck! *runs away*

brooklinegirl: Here are some places where you made weird typoes, and here are a couple of lines that don't make any sense. Mostly it's good. Yays!

me: YAYS. *rereads* Wait, are you sure it doesn't suck? Look again.

brooklinegirl: Huh. Now that you mention it, I guess you could, you know, work on giving the characters any sort of emotion or evidence of human feelings. It's worth a shot.

me: ...I guess. *rewrites*

brooklinegirl: That's totally much less sucky! You rock!

me: YAYS FOR REAL THIS TIME.
