Things Fox and I Have Learned, Looking Up Information for RPF This Evening:

1. Even though we've both read it before, the Cannes article with CKR and Sandra Oh is still pretty much the awesomest.

2. Sandra Oh and Molly Parker BOTH spent, like, fourteen years studying ballet, starting in their early childhoods. (Fox thinks this should be a wee!canadians ballet!AU. I DO NOT DISAGREE.)

3. Hello, how did NONE of you tell me that Molly Parker is totally knocked up!!! I choose to continue, as I have always done before, to ignore the fact that she is totally married to some guy, presumably quite happily.

4. There are a lot of characters named Sandra in Canadian indie films.

Edited to add: Hey, can anyone point me to documentation fo the whole "everyone living together in a big dorm during the filming of Wilby Wonderful" thing? And was there a little TV spot about it that had footage of Sandra Oh and CKR walking around together, or did I imagine that? madlpudl rocks with the footage finding!

I'm telling you, they all made a deal with Sandra that they'd name characters after her.

Someday, there will be a Canadian film called, simply, Sandra. Every chracter will be named Sandra.

Except for Sandra Oh's character. She'll be, like, Jane.

Maybe it will be THE SANDRAS. They can all have numbers! CKR can be Sandra 5. Molly Parker can be Sandra 12. Don McKellar is Sandra 337. Paul Gross is Sandra 1. And Sandra Oh is THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSE.

I love Molly Parker, even though she is Canadian. If she ever moves to the US I will pay more attention to her because she is a nearly flawless actress. The only thing standing in the way of this fine lady and a plastic bag (no paper please!) full of Oscars is that hard to understand accent, but with a little work she could work around that. Otherwise, she is tall, lithe, and with those Canadian features, quite unique looking indeed. I hope that, when she does qualify for citizenship in our great country, she starts acting her patootie off. I am all ready to be her biggest admirer.

The other thing is definitely not the Behind the Scenes thing from the dvd, though, but I'll check out if there's anything else that looks like it might be it.

Yeah, I know what you're referring to; I just thought it was in the BTS. I'm on deadline to finish a beta right now, but if you haven't found it in a couple of hours I'll look around on my hard drive and see if I can scare up which one it is.
