sg-1! what is this shiny thing in the distance?

If I was interested in watching a couple episodes of SG-1, what would you recommend to me to show it as fun and entertaining and not totally boring? So far all I've seen is a few Rodney bits, the first Vala episode, and some of this season. Not that I haven't tried a couple other random things, but ... there's a reason I'm asking for the criteria I am.

Seriously, cool, action-y eps that I like are 1.18 Solitudes, 2.11 and 2.12 The Tok'ra, 2.16 A Matter of Time, 3.17 A Hundred Days, 5.08 The Tomb, 6.01 ad 6.02 Redemption (but maybe those are the Rodney bits you've seen?), 8.01 and 8.02 New Order, 8.20 and 8.21 Moebius.

Some of the eps I see below consist mainly of Daniel making speeches, frankly. I could point them out to you. Threads
