2/9/06 02:10 (UTC)2. She's had 30 years to plan her wedding, so it's pretty much down to the details now. The big fluffy gown and the handsome groom and the church full of people are all fixed in stone, but she goes back and forth on the flavor of the cake and the shade of pink for the bridesmaid dresses.
3. She goes into work one day and it turns out there's, like, a surprise party for her. Fraser's there, and Harding, and both her brother Rays, and even her Ma has realized just how much Frannie does. Not for any reason. Just to show how much everyone appreciates everything she does and how much they respect her.
4. Her and Ray came really close once, so maybe it'll never happen again -- but what if she really did hit the jackpot? She could have everything she ever wanted.
5. Okay, you've read Sword of Desire, right? You know that great part right after they get eloped and run away from her father? When they stop on the moor? It's just like that, only Frannie instead of Esmerelda and Fraser instead of Lord William and also no thunderstorm, because the rain makes Frannie's hair frizz like crazy.

2/9/06 02:40 (UTC)2. When George moved into Burke's place, Izzie came over one evening and refused to leave from the hallway until George came and talked to her and worked everything out. They ended up yelling at each other really loudly, even though it wasn't each other they were really mad at, but George doesn't know which of them was more surprised when they kissed.
3. George drove her home after the prom and he put her to bed and got her some tea and then he lay down with her and held her while she cried some more. When she stopped crying she kissed his cheek and told him he was a good guy, and George realized he was the dumbest guy alive because he'd fallen in love with another one. Only this time he was smart enough to try and wait until her heart wasn't still broken.
4. George had finished a 36 shift and he got home at 8 in the morning and Izzie was sitting in the kitchen eating ice cream out of the carton and reading the paper, and he sat down next to her and she handed the open over to him without saying a word.
5. Izzie said, "I haven't had sex in a year, George."
George said, "Uh..."
Izzie smiled at him and George was doomed.

2/9/06 05:56 (UTC)1) He still misses alcohol sometimes, but not as much as he misses the feeling of living without caring about the consequences.
2) He doesn't think he'll ever forgive Carol French for what she did.
3) The sex with Dan ranges from okay to not really very good at all. He doesn't mind.
4) Most people are mostly full of shit; their problems aren't nearly as important as they think they are.
5) I love you more than life, more than air, more than anything. My whole life was waiting for this. Don't hurt me. Don't ever leave.

3/9/06 05:31 (UTC)2. One time, when she was taking her first sip, Bailey showed up and Cristina actually growled at her. That was a bad day.
3."Coffee" is her and Burke's secret code work for sexin'.
4. The circumstances of that one time she spilt her coffee right into Alex's lap were a little too convenient to really be an accident.
5. That other time she didn't even try to pretend it was an accident.

3/9/06 05:45 (UTC)1. In high school they used to sit in the woods over by the beach sometimes and smoke pot. Buddy would tell him about the latest girls he was dating or in love with. Duck would just smile and nod and pass the joint back again.
2. There was this party once, when they were 21 or so, and Duck got so loaded he couldn't walk home alone. Buddy took him home, walked him up to the door and into his bedroom. They stood there for a second and Duck came this close to leaning forward and kissing Buddy right on the mouth, but Buddy pushed him to sit down the bed just in time and the moment passed.
3. He came back to the island for his mom's funeral. Buddy came over to the house to pay his condolences; Duck was on the phone with Gary, checking in with him. He finished the conversation off without saying his name or anything identifying once.
4. When he moved back to the island for good, a lot of people asked him why. Sometimes he didn't say anything. Sometime he said he just realized the mainland wasn't what he wanted. Those were both true. When Buddy asked, Duck told him he'd gotten out of a bad relationship. That was true too.
5. He and Dan showed up on the front stoop of the Frenches' house the day they were invited for dinner. Buddy opened to door and took the cake from Duck's hands and let them inside.

3/9/06 18:25 (UTC)1. She's really self-centered. Everything's always about her.
2. She's just so depressed all the time. Which, yeah, she's had a hard time, but she seems to just wallow in it sometimes. If you're that unhappy for that long, maybe you need to just do something about it.
3. She always drinks the last of the coffee in the pot and never makes more or cleans after herself.
4. The loud sex. Letting your roommates sleep is important.
5. She's never felt the same way about him that he does about her, and she's never going to.

3/9/06 18:40 (UTC)2. They had gone to a drive-in movie, and Ray had driven Stella home, parked on the curb down by her folks' house. That's when he asked her to marry him.
3. By the time his folks moved to Arizona, Stella was doing pretty damn well for herself. If his car was gone forever, then Ray might as well get used to the fancy personality-free sedans Stella liked.
4. There was no point having a nice car undercover, either; he'd go with whatever worked for the assignment.
5. His mom hugged him close and his dad shook his hand and they were back in his life all of a sudden. Every weekend Ray went out to Skokie and his mom made dinner and he and his dad stood outside over the car.
