schmericaMy sister and I just finished watching season 1 of NCIS. Unfortunately, the season 2 dvds aren't out yet, because I feel kind of addicted now. At my parents' house, I can't even bit torrent any episodes! BOO, I say.
(One episode of the show we watched today had Jayne from Firefly *and* Darla from Angel *and* Felicity Huffman's husband from Desperate Housewives. I was impressed.)
Besides this, the other highlight of the day was the tiny truffles my sister and I bought at the fancy store yesterday when we were shopping. They were in the clearence bin! And it was Harry and David's! You can't go there without wanting to buy something! Mmmmm, truffles.
I continue to really enjoy the 5 Things entries people are doing. The ones I love the most are the ones that involve Benton Fraser, of course, which I know surprises exactly no one.

Ooh, suddenly I want to read a gen piece with Fraser and Abby. One where everything thinks that she'll scare him, but no, he's all talking forensics with her, and then Ray says something like "pretty crazy chick, huh Frase?", and then Fraser is all "well, no, Ray, she's not insane at all, she's incredibly intelligent and you should hear some of the things she knows about blood splatter."
Yes, I want to read that.
