Continuing on the celebrity gossip theme, this story is the best thing I have read in ages.

I finished Laura Kinsale's The Shadow and the Star. She continues to be freaking amazing. Seriously, she and Jenny Crusie are the two authors I would recommend whole-heartedly even to people who don't like romance, because... BWEE.

Okay, I have class all weekend, but I will make time to create a "Harrison Ford, Hobo" icon which I will share with everybody because that story is HILARITY.

Also, would you willing to recommend romance authors? I'm just getting to the genre, like, officially, and I've gotten some guidance from The Smart Bitches, (http://www.smartbitchestrashybooks.com) but more would be great. I don't have a strong opinion re: contemporary vs. historical; I just want characters who are smart and non-annoying, surrounded by well-written text.
