1) I love that Cheap Trick song! MOMMY'S ALL RIGHT DADDY'S ALL RIGHT THEY JUST SEEM A LITTLE WEEEEEEEEIRD.

2) Okay, I am totally lame, but I so thought that last minute of the show that they were setting up for an "oh, noes, they're really related! oops incest!" plot instead of a "John-killed-the dad" plot and I was REALLY EXCITED.

I still believe they're related. They haven't convinced me otherwise yet.

Yeah, Ellen has not told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I'm pretty sure she and John had it goin' on, maybe just before Ellen married William in a good ol' hunter-style shotgun wedding.

*nods*

Exactly. She might have rushed into that wedding to William before the wedding dress got too snug.

It makes sense! John was probably looking for comfort, you know, and he wasn't marriage material, but there was William, and she loved him. And then twenty years later, INCEST.

I totally wouldn't mind if Jo turned out to be their half-sister, but in that case, I'd kind of want the revelation to come *after* the sexin'....

Seriously, dude! Although I don't think SPN is really brave or edgy enough to actually go there, more's the pity. Mmmm, and your way would up the angst. (Have you written that story? Are you going to?)

No, I don't think they're brave enough to go there either, but it's fun to think about.

Have you written that story? Are you going to?

It's on my list. *g*

And here I am, curious about the list.

Dean/Ellen would also be interesting- particularly given his behavior around her. (might have her own list)

Dean/Ellen has awesome potential for hotness and snark and angst.

Mmm. yes, it does. And that was even before last week's episode. Now that's been taken even further. Although I don't have a problem with Jo, I felt that she was more little sister sort in the last episode and if that was the direction she was being taken it wouldn't be too bad. If, on the other hand, the PTB are serious about her being a love interest for Dean, she will have to grow up as a character first. Which this storyline may permit.

Then there's Ellen, who has seen what hunting does, has dealt with the Winchesters, and has issues, but at the same time has these feelings of a maternal nature toward the boys. And they don't want to be mothered. Dean esp.

I've been saying that Jo is their sister since the first episode she popped up, and when I saw that last freakin' minute, I was all, "OMG, was I right, are they really going to do it? PLZ?"... but no.
