Per NCIS: which pairings (slash or het) do you see in canon? Which pairings do you think are the hottest? Which pairings would you read/write? (Where "pairing" can mean het/slash and of course includes threesomes and moresomes.) What's your stance on Ducky/Gibbs? And, Kate vs. Ziva?

*giggles* Dude, honestly, I think canon is a big slut, because there's enough subtext to support pretty much any pairing you feel like, depending on the episode, you know? Abby/McGee and Jenny/Gibbs are obviously canon, Ziva/Tony and Kate/Tony were hinted at, and I could totally see Gibbs/Tony, Gibbs/Kate, Gibbs/Ziva, Gibbs/Ducky, Tony/McGee, Ziva/Abby, Kate/Abby, Abby/Gibbs, and probably a lot of other ones I am forgetting.

Hottest pairings, hmmm. I lean toward Kate/Abby and Ziva/Abby, because the girl loving is just so adorable.

Reading and writingwise, I am interested the girlslash above, Abby/pretty much anyone (but I have a special fondness for Gibbs/Abby), or Tony with Kate or Ziva or McGee.

My stance on Ducky/Gibbs: um, I can totally see it? I don't ship them or anything, but longstanding friendships and unspoken connections always make nice slash relationships.

Kate vs Ziva: oh, man, you know, I hated Kate in s1, because she was so annoying, but by the end of s2 she was growing on me a little. Still, I think I have to go with Ziva, over all.

It's sad I have no appropriate icon to use here.

I think Fraser thinks he hates her now, really, and he's frightened of her, and he's frightened of himself, and part of him still loves her, and it is a big gooey disgusting mess. If RayK was around at the time, I think there would be giant arguments between him and Fraser, because RayK doesn't know when to stop, and he would poke and prod and push too far.

Hmm, tough! There are exceptions to these things all the time, but for one thing I like my slash people to really like each other; antagonist or enemy slash bores me silly, and a lot more popular slash pairings don't grab me because I don't really believe the guys or girls are that important to each other. I like them to be the central relationship in each other's lives, so that without that person they'd maybe not quite be the same person.

why am i such a squishy loser when it comes to adoring things that i've ignored for years? where might i find an icon that says "imagine yourself at sea. suddenly you find yourself set upon by members of the royal canadian mounted police and the chicago police department in a vessel that is a replica of the hms bounty. wouldn't you be surprised?" would people be sad if i used that icon, because it was too spoilery for a show that was aired a long long time ago? are any horrible things going to happen in the fourth season of due south which will make me cry or very angry?

You are not a loser! I have not seen such an icon, but I can ask! I do not think anyone will be angry. I do not think anything in season 4 should make you angry, but "The Ladies' Man" makes me cry.
