Skinny geek in Flash t-shirt: Dude, did you see Battlestar Galactica last night?
Fat geek in Green Lantern t-shirt: No, because I'm not a huge nerd. Hand me that Young Avengers issue, will ya?

4/12/06 20:45 (UTC)i must agree with caia_comica, though: there is a hierarchy! e.g. if > indicates "is geekier than", games workshop > forbidden planet. every time.
also, i am locked in a continuing debate with a rl friend as to whether or not "reads/writes fanfic" [me] is geekier than or less geeky than "role plays (the rl, round-a-table, owning of multi-sided dice kind) three times a week" [her]. side issues brought up every time this is aired include "owning blakes 7 on dvd" vs. "watching andromeda and liking it".
