schmericaAnd now I will once again return to exploring the many activities the world has to offer that aren't vidding, sleeping and eating. No, really!
So I found this vid had three distinct challenges to it as I was working on it:
First, there's the obvious "practice makes perfect/I must improve my skills/huh, what else can I make this do?" bit to deal with; I feel closer to my editing software with every passing day!
Second challenge involves the fact that the fandom/musical genre pairing here is ... um, unusual is a good word, I guess, and I wanted to see what was involved with trying an unexpected musical choice like that.
Third: seriously, people, Hard Core Logo is not even 90 minutes long -- the fanproduct-to-canon ratio to HUGE. So in that sort of situation, when you have limited material to work with and so many people have picked it over before you, you're even more worried than usual about the questions of "do I have anything new to say?" and "Does this stand as an individual, and not blend into everything that came before?"
Interestingly, vidding this, even while dealing with all those issues at once turned out to be incredibly fun; I enjoyed the process here a ridiculous amount.
Still, that said -- the whole thing is still Zee's fault.

At least then I'll get to watch TV all day.
And on my deathbed I'll get all the answers
Even if all my questions are taken away.
