Man, I seriously have been spending the entire day on youtube and damnyouwentz. It's all so SHINY. I keep IMing ficbyzee and quoting stuff and saying things like, "goddamn, emo boys are really gay and pretty and young" and "o.O" and "....." and "The internet keeps giving me more information than I know what to do with!!!"

Seriously, my mind is totally blown in the VERY BEST WAY. Shiny new fandom FTW!

A very brief conversation I had with fox1013 while reading addictedkitten's Panic! At the Disco primer:

Ha! Oh, girl!Ryan--how I miss her. He's such a boy right now, with the facial hair and the heterosexuality, its freaking me out. But then boy!Ryan looks kind of like River Phoenix in My Own Private Idaho, so thats okay too.

And yep, thats emoboy fandom. It sucks you in. One day you go, "huh, that circusy band sounds kind of okay," and then you discover all the fic and footage thats out there, and people keep telling you non-irritating things that Pete Wentz has said, and then you're hooked.

Oh my God, words cannot convey how joyful I am that you are being sucked into this fandom. They are SO PRETTY and SO GAY! I have been sort of a little in this fandom for like three weeks and I am so fascinated by it. But no one else I know is interested, which means I have no one to squee with.

I know! My favorite pic in that whole lot is the one where Gabe Saporta is eating chocolate off of William's tummy, and Patrick Stump is just casually talking to some dude in the background, not even paying attention. Because apparently that sort of thing happens so often with that whole group of dudes that its not even interesting to Patrick anymore. He's not even looking! Not even to go, "god, are you guys doing that again", not even to roll his eyes at their gayness!

And apparently, another reason to love Chicago is that all the gay emo band boys seem to be from around here. Half the kids I go to school with can connect themselves to a band in someway. ( eg. Old roommate's best friend's sister used to go out with Pete Wentz? Or something? She was very traumatized when he showed up on One Tree Hill)
