You still love me, though.
16/3/07 18:48HEY GUYS GUESS WHO MANAGED TO LOCK THEMSELVES OUT OF THEIR HOUSE FOR THE SECOND TIME IN ONE TERM?
(Hint: me.)
Yeaaaah, I'm a pretty princess. I went outside to water the plants this evening and didn't realize my roommate had locked the door when she left the house earlier this afternoon.
There are very few things in this world I have more disdain for at the moment than locked doors which allow you to exit without unlocking. I NEED TECHNOLOGY TO SAVE ME FROM MY OWN STUPIDITY.
Still, getting locked out today from apparently eighty billion times more pleasant then when it happened in January. For one thing, it was for about 40 minutes instead of 5 hours. For another, it was 68 degrees and sunny out instead of 32 degrees and snowing. Furthermore, I was wearing clothes (not pajamas) AND shoes! It was not unlike when I was child and my parents used to force me to stay outside for a while despite my hatred for the sun, really.
Anyway. This hated term is almost over, though! I finished both the big projects today, so all that is left is finals -- an exam on Monday, and take-homes due on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then it will be vacation and THEN it will be jamboree! WOOT.
I told
aerye a couple hours ago how I was thinking about various topics in my Vecchio love. Like Vecchio het (you know he's totally a great lover). And my huge button for cute!uncle!Vecchio, and protective!older!brother!Vecchio (man, I crave more teenage Vecchio fic SO HARD), which led me a brain tangent earlier about how I think Vecchio would actually be a really, really good dad. Better than either of the other due South guys, I would think.
EDITED TO ADD: Also when I was locked outside I found myself staring into space and decided that Karen/Jim/Pam would be the Worst, Most Awkward, Spectacularly Ill-Advised Threesome in the History of the World.

17/3/07 02:07 (UTC)Honey, don't walk outside of your house without keys anymore, okay? Okay. I worry!
OMG, I love Vecchio, and I think he IS a great lover (although I think that could be said for either men or women), and I kind of have a soft spot for teenage Vecchio/Irene. And you're right - he would be a good dad. You think he'd be better than Kowalski though? Hmm....

17/3/07 04:45 (UTC)Hm, but, I don't think there is a way to encourage others to F/V. I mean, it's a thing you either do or you don't. Even I kind of don't, except for how I do. It's confusing!
