You GUYS. I'm seriously unable to deal with just how much I miss everybody and everything from this weekend. Everything at home is just much too lame to even compare to

muskratjamboree in any way whatsoever! Post-con malaise is the sad, sad downside to the glorious joy that the weekend brings.

I don't have any sort of con report here, but I feel a need to share a list of several prizes that I feel need to be distributed.

Darling of my heart forever and forever, other half of my soul award: I had THREE WHOLE DAYS with my

fox1013! Honestly, even if the jamboree hadn't happened, just a visit to see Amy would have been an event of uncommon awesomeness. But I got to have her AND the con. Yay, me.

"How Have We Not Met Before?" Anne Shirley Memorial Kindred Spirits award:

etben!!! Seriously, I could have spent hours just sitting in the room parties and cuddling with etben. She is even awesomer in person than she is online, and had that thing where it felt unlikely that we had not met before. (Also, dude, Saturday night? I kept having massive mood swings where I would be cheerful and happy and having lots of fun at the room party, and then suddenly be like "But if only I knew how to find ETBEN." And you showed up! And it was okay. P.S, if I was only THIS MUCH queerer, there totally would have been drunken making out. Sigh. Being a straight girl is hard.)

Cute as a button, but could TOTALLY kick my ass award:

misspamela was pretty, vivacious and charming in all possible ways, but she also seems totally tough underneath it. I didn't find out until Sunday afternoon that Miss P had succumbed to bandslash, or I would have spent much more time talking with her about Pete Wentz and his emo boys. Alas!

Princess Jailbait award: Oh,

kalpurna. The youngest con attendee also had the most impressive rack on display the entire weekend -- and, dude, it's not like there wasn't competition.

But Are We Stalking CKR or Alex Trebek award:

brooklinegirl, my partner in Canadian Jeopardy Saturday afternoon. Needless to say, we kicked a lot (a LOT) of ass. Even if Tracey did forget that Bruce McDonald directed Hard Core Logo.

High-pitched noises and other behavior of fangirls in the wild award: every fangirl in the room Saturday night watching Hard Core Logo as the knife-licking scene played. Twice in a row. Causing other fangirls to come into the room from the hall to make sure nothing was wrong.

Anticipation is sweet award: I have known

slodwick online for well over FIVE YEARS, you guys -- she is one of the people I have had friended since my very first days in Smallville fandom -- and Friday was the first time I ever met her. Wow, man.

Grace under the most trying circumstances award: to

mrsronweasley, for toughing out the stupid hotel's technical difficulties during the vid show and entertaining us all with dirty jokes and sing-alongs of "Barrett's Privateers" so well that nobody got bored or cranky or mean at all.

Fucking with the cheerleaders award:

airinshaw, convincing random stupid teenage girls that the elevator stopped in the hotel, giving a secret portal all the way back to England.

Most adorable accent (domestic edition):

lyra_sena! It is impossible for Lyra to sound anything but sweet and lovely and genteel with her accent, which is why it is so very very awesome that she will randomly say things like "cocksucker" and "donkey fucker" for you upon request.

Most adorable accent (international edition): This one is way too hard to choose somebody for, because, um, everybody with a non-American accent starts adorable to Americans. We can't help it! But I could have listened to

c_regalis and

_unhurt_ and

china_shop talk for a really, really long time. It wouldn't matter what it was about! Just, like, "uh huh, yes. Keep going."

I'm too lazy to think up more titles, but whatever. OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE AWESOME!

dsudis, who I didn't get to talk to nearly enough, but whom I admire like whoa. At least we got to get hugs in on Sunday. Not sharing a fandom sucks, but at least we are both still awesome?

shoemaster, who is freaking adorable and fills me with SHAME that I somehow had not had her on my friends list before this. Not to mention that she occupies the place of being the official first fangirl that Fox and I came across while walking to the hotel. <3

kageygirl is not only super nice, but also made me, like, all of my drinks on Saturday night, despite me not giving her any more indication besides "I like stuff. And not the taste of alcohol." And also despite me skipping her NCIS panel that I had promised to go to because I am a horrible awful person.

mayatawi, who not only was generous enough to let me crash at her place on Sunday night, but ALSO drove me back and forth from the hotel when I forgot important things, bought me pizza for dinner, and then somehow managed to pimp me into Doctor Who, of all things. SHE HAS POWERS YOU GUYS.

brooklinegirl AGAIN, because, you guys, I now have BENTON FRASER DOGTAGS. My life is complete.

There are approximately seven million other fangirls who all contibruted to this being the best weekend ever, and seriously, I wish it could have lasted longer so I could have had even more in depth conversations with all of you. Next time I will have to stalk everybody I didn't get to sit down with for a long time this time around. Because THAT will be a trial.
