This time last week I was in Boston surrounded by fangirls. NO I AM NOT OVER IT YET.

Earlier today I read ficbyzee's giant bandslash fic of awesomeness that she posted while I was away. Hold Off Your Bets Now. Seriously, you guys, bandslash is such an awesome secondary fandom, it's not even funny. So much good fic! So many excited girls! So much footage to squee over! More people falling into its clutches BY THE DAY.

Hi! I like Ray and Fraser! Do you like Ray and Fraser? Because I do. I want to read stories where they meet and get it on when they're, like, 20 (shut it, there can't be too many of those). And stories with season 2 style Fraser/Thatcher sexy ust. And kidfic! Especially with Fraser in a godfather/uncle sort of role rather than father, because MAN would he rock at that, whether it was for RayV's kids or Maggie's or even (SNIFFLE) RayK's. And as always I want RayV backstory -- he is a super protective big brother, and he has a tragic love affair, and he has all this FAMILY and RESPONSIBILITIES and ARGH and <3.

Also I want someone to write a ds au where THEY'RE IN A BAND. sHUT UP IT WOULD BE AWESOME.

Also also I want someone to write me CKR/Don McKellar. I realize this has little to no chance of ever happening, because MJ has reinforced to me the fact that 95% of fangirls don't find Don McKellar at all attractive. Whatever, the other five percent of us make up for it!

We can all at least agree that CKR and Molly Parker have smoking hot sex-ass chemistry, though, right? There can never be enough of that. I WILL POST THAT PICTURE AGAIN IF I HAVE TO.



Hmm, aside from RPF, that also made me think about my imaginary fandom for the first time in weeks. Definitely a plus!

I have no idea what half this post is about, but Molly Parker was in Deadwood! Where's the historical Mountie dS AU? Where Fraser crosses the border down to an unruly frontier, and he is even MANLIER and SCRUFFIER, and KNOWING of his shit, and of course, just as WEIRD. And RayK is legitimately a CONSTABLE ahahaha, even scruffier with his cravat half undone and an old horse that he adores, whose childhood sweetheart is newly married to the local politician, but there is MURDER and cowboys and Frannie working in a saloon, and Fraser being very awesome.

My latest totally cracktastic idea for F/K came about as a side-effect of indulging a devoted Canadian friend with a rewatching of the movie 'Meatballs', and realizing how TOTALLY MUCH Fraser and Ray K. need to be teen camp counselors in that fabulous late-70's universe: Fraser because his grandparents think he needs to be socialized a little, Ray because of course Stella volunteered but then once she gets there she's all *embedded* with the girls...

Mmm... long, 70's boy-hair (on Fraser). Punk 70's hair (on Ray--so what's the diff?) Stupid 70's boy shorts: tight, bright red or blue, with white trim. Ray moody as hell and trying not to show it, sneaking smokes behind the mess hall, yelling at the brats he's supposed to be in charge of, and scaring the crap out of Morty and the other CITs. Except, of course, for the big-eyed, quiet, shy one...
