Here is what I have accomplished today:
+ I wrote a little bit! Yay!
+ I did all my linguistics reading for the next week! I am ahead of the game! Even if it is only the first week of term, that is still awesome. Yay!
+ I have watched lots of Doctor Who.
mayatawi showed me a few episodes when I was in Boston, and then I came home and downloaded the entirety of the Ninth Doctor. I'm currently almost through with 1x07 (The Longest Game) and I expect I will probably be watching many more episodes tonight. While I am never going to be fannish about this, wow, is this show incredibly enjoyable! Time travel! Space travel! Aliens! Zombies! Fun fun fun. I am totally not surprised at how everybody on my friends list was shipping Nine/Rose, considering they don't seem to do anything at all except flirt. Also, I find Rose's accent very pleasing. Lots of glottal stops. Awesome.
+ Here is part of an email I just sent to
justbreathe80 about Ray Vecchio and Stella having babies:
Right now I am thinking about Stella and RayV's kids. Because I totally think they had them. There are two of them, and they are both girls, and they are probably about two years apart, and when they were little they were scrawny and awkward and all limbs like little colts and braces, but now they are teenagers, like 17 and 15 or something, and they are both tall and skinny and incredibly long straight dark hair and bright smiles and wear pretty clothes and they get up on their toes to give RayV a kiss on the cheek every night before bed.
Fraser would be the oldest one's godfather, of course, and in a strange twisted way he and RayK would be sort-of-kind-of uncles to them, but. You know. It's not like they would see kids more often than every large-amount-of-years. If they came and visited the Vecchios at this point the kids would be, like, real PEOPLE, what the hell? Not that Fraser wouldn't adapt quickly, once he realized they were a little old for the Barbies he whittled for them for gifts, because Fraser has a weird affinity for teenage girls, but, man, Ray would think they were creepy evil shiny clones he can't tell apart. Hee.
(HI I AM RANDOM. And also about to watch more Doctor Who. HI.)
