So on more than one occasion in the past few weeks I've been reading my flist and commented on one of the bandom posts and somebody's been like "pearl! we got you reading bandom now? awesome!" Which is kind of funny! Because, um, I'm always like "...sorry! I didn't mean to make you think you got a new convert! I've been reading in this fandom longer than you have, actually, my monofannish FBR-loving darling!"

(No, see, I have an icon and a tag and everything. See, um, when ficbyzee was getting into the fandom in February? She fells really, really hard. REALLY hard. And we were IMing pretty much constantly then, and there was too much squee to fit into one small zee. She likes to share!)

Anyway, this is funny, because it fits in with something I actually just said to Zee a week or two ago, which is: I think it is about time for me to be repimped into bandom! I spent most of the summer pretty dS-only-obsessed, so I actually haven't been reading much for a while. Plus bandom is pretty much the best secondary fandom ever, and I've had a couple. Popslash was also good, but you guys are even giddier and more sincere.

Here are some guidelines for pimping to me!

--I LOVE footage of cuteness and dorkiness. Interviews, behind the scenes stuff, candid stuff, whatever. Music videos are also good. I'm not looking for lots of music right now.
--I'm all about Fall Out Boy. Panic! would pretty much bore me if it wasn't for Jon Walker being dreamy. All I know about My Chemical Romance is a) Gerard Way looks like Paul Gross, wrote a comic book, and saves lives and b) Frank Iero has pretty eyes.
--Those of you who know exactly how much Clark/Lex and Timbertrick fanfiction I have consumed over the years should not be surprised by the fact that I looooove me the awesome underage stuff. Pete being a pedophile with wee Patrick = my happiest place. Other pairings, too, of course.
--AUs are awesomesauce.

Also, you guys, I just reread my first entry I made on this fandom, and I said this in it:

Their videos are all, like, "HEY! We're in a ROCK BAND! We have GUITARS! It's AWESOME! WOOOOOOT!" which is, um, kind of irresistible.

Which basically says EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD.

I...saw the video where the guys from Fall Out Boy were talking about a "shadowy figure" approaching them and asking for their autograph and then they realized it was Bruce Springsteen.

Sadly I don't have much beyond that. :( Rest assured, though, if there were an E-Street Bandom, I would pimp that to you SIX WAYS FROM SUNDAY. I mean.

Pay close attention to Bob's intro and how Frank is all over him and thanks God every day for bringing him in Bob and how they're in love. There will be a test!
