SOMETIMES, when I am thinking too hard about Pete Wentz or Mikeyway (or I guess Jon Walker, too, except that hasn't happened yet), something in my mind just goes snap and suddenly I am stuck in the Kids in the Halls sketch "The Bass Player".

...Please tell me I'm not alone in this.

I can't say I think about it in terms of bandslash, but I remember that KITH sketch very well.

I tend to have the "Running Faggot" theme song in my head at entirely inappropriate times. I also love the one where Scott Foley had a positive attitude towards menstruation.

I think it was Dave Foley with the positive attitude towards menstruation actually, but yes! KITH = <3. I tend to get the "Daves I Know" song and the "on the subject of me" facts stuck in my head.

How had I never seen that before?? God, I miss The Kids in teh Hall.

Clearly it didn't used to make me think of this sketch, but it WILL NOW.

Pete Wentz is balding .... SPIRITUALLY.

(Possibility the complete lack of applicability is what makes it so funny.)

If you didn't come so highly recced from [livejournal.com profile] shoemaster, I would have friended you for this alone! It's one of my favorite KITH sketches and now Pete's bass playing will always equal Kevin McDonald's interpretive dance in my head.

Hee, hi! Basically, all I have to say is a variation of OH PETE WENTZ.

I don't ever think about those guys, but OMG. I'd almost forgotten about that sketch. I don't know how because it's BRILLIANT.
