So last night I was thinking and came to the realization that if you plotted out my favorite characters in the fandoms I've been in, it would look like this:

Clark Kent ----> Benton Fraser ----> Gerard Way

Um. APPARENTLY I LIKE GUYS WHO SAVE LIVES, OKAY, SHUT UP.

(Being dark-haired and pretty does not hurt any, I'm guessing!)

I keep telling people lately how weird it feels to be in a fandom where I don't have an OTP. If I'm getting serious about a fandom, the two usually go totally hand-in-hand for me. But as it is, I find all the guys really interesting, but if you're doing inter-MCR pairings, for example, I don't really have a preference for one of them over the other. I mean, I kind of have an OTP in Pete/Patrick, in the sense that I can see the "oh yes theirloveissopure they love each other SO MUCH meant to be, etc, etc, etc" of them, but I'm not obsessive and "moremoremore" and happyplace! about them, exactly.

And actually, when I think about it, the closest thing I have to an OTP right now is probably Pete/Mikey? Except not even Pete/Mikey. Just AU Pete/Mikey. This is true of pretty much every AU? But extra special brownie points for Pete/Mikey with always-been-a-girl!Mikey. Oh my, yes.

(Secret message to Bex: I don't know what messages it let me send you, but my internet is being super sketch and keeps disappearing and logging me out. I will try and pounce you sometime when it's being less pathetic!)

I know I told you this yesterday but I am really WAY TOO EXCITED that we are going to share a fandom again. I was telling etben the other day about how awesome you are and how "Bex has known me since I was a baby baby BABY fangirl!" And then had to pause and point out I didn't mean it in a skeezy Pete Wentz way.

Seriously - you could be repeating me word for word. It baffles me that I can be so staunchly OTP in every other fandom (esp SGA) and yet love almost every pairing in this. I have preferences? But no hardcore OTPs.

I have the same saving-lives thing too. Luke Skywalker, Pete Petrelli (Peter!), Gerard *Hearts and flowers him 4EVA* I like 'em ernest and life-savey apparently!
