FIRST. So, Velvet Goldmine bandom AU -- I feel as though Pete would definitely be Curt Wild and maybe Ryan Ross would be Arthur Stuart, but who would be Brian Slade? I mean, despite looking like Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Mikeyway wouldn't fit at all.

SECOND. Here is a list of things relating to bandom that I want to know more about: Mikeyway's mental health at Paramour, Bob and Patrick living together, Patrick/Vicky-T, Brendon Urie growing up Mormon, where everybody's damn furry kink came from anyway.

THIRD. This is still possibly my favorite picture of Gerard I've ever seen. I'm easily led, though, so it might just be because that weird glint of light makes it looks like he's WALKING THROUGH A RAINBOW BECAUSE HE'S MADE OF SMILES AND PUPPIES. Or that he's a cartoon character. One or the other.

FOURTH. Three hours until How I Met Your Mother! Sigh, I'm so impatient. It and Grey's Anatomy are tied for the position of the only thing that makes me go *FLAILS* and "SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW" week after week.

I actually really feel like Pete is Brian, although I definitely agree with Ryan as Arthur. The only bandom person who really screams "Curt Wilde" to me though is ... uh, Gerard, and that's an interesting pairings listing right there.

Ooh, see, when I was writing this I considered Gerard as Brian, but yeah, you're right, your way's much better. Pete as Brian has some fascinating identity/fame/craziness issues to explore.
