What were you like in high school?
Hmmm. Awkward and shy and self-conscious, mostly. Just as dorky as I am now but less awesome about it. I wasn't quite happy in my skin, or with my friends. It's really hard for me to answer this, actually, because I changed so much when I went to Simon's Rock that I really think of that time as when I started being me, if that makes sense? In a lot of ways I am not that different than I was in high school, but I feel a lot different.
...would you rather be the more loving one or the more loved?
Oooh, tough. Being the more loved one can be tough in a lot of ways -- awkward! pain! But, dude, I do really have some serious issues; I always think I'm the one more invested in a relationship, and people have to work really hard to prove to me that they care as much.
WHY IS IT SO COLD?
Because the earth's axis is tilted! So we have seasons! And stuff!

Email is being sent off; other people, I'll probably have my address in a filtered post later. As for why bandslash, um. It's pretty much the same reason why Due South, and why Smallville before it! Which is just ... it makes me happy, and it eats my brain so it's the only thing I can think about.
When did you know you were totally in love with PG and CKR?
Mmmm. Late 2003 sometime, I guess. When I realized I couldn't stop thinking about them and scribbling about boys when I was supposed to be doing other things and just. It's a slow realization, but fierce!
If Darren Nichols is a Ryan Ross fan
Hmm. Darren Nichols is totally dismissive of modern pop and rock music in general, but as far as their pointless self-involved art goes, Ryan Ross has some potential, you know? The spectacle has something going for it. If only Ryan thought a little less about the music and a little MORE about face-painting, circuses and gay performances.
In personal life, of course, Ryan is totally the type of art-school twink Darren would fuck and parade around on eye candy. Especially if Ryan's fanboyness was theater-based instead of music, ie Darren would be his way more creepy Pete Wentz. (Just imagine the full force of their mutual disdain, omg.)
