So I was telling people last night that I kind of really love this picture of MCR. I mean, honestly, I think it's pretty fucking impressive to have every single person in your band reach their ultimate peak of Least Attractiveness at the same time, you know? SKILLS.

See, like Fall Out Boy? They totally didn't manage that, with their looking really good/looking really bad periods lined up together. When I was explaining this to mimesere I used this picture as an example, and Sheila's response was "You just like jailbait Patrick."

Which, ahahaha, is TRUE. I love Patrick Stump, I do, but though I always think he's adorable, I only really find him attractive about half the time. But underage!Patrick? Oh, man, I would hit that SO HARD, you guys.

God. Like I needed to have more things in common with Pete Wentz, right? :(

(But then it reminded me of the discussion in adellyna's journal a couple of weeks ago about how awesome it would be to have Now!Pete go back in time and have sex with Baby!Patrick. I totally managed to squick ficbyzee out with this idea, it was awesome.)

Kinda a great thing about that photo is the wee girl is Ultragrrrl's niece or something along those lines. Because that little girl was like the hugest MCR fan even then. So she got to see them on her birthday.

Also, also. Do you think young Patrick would find present-day Pete attractive? I keep imagining Patrick just getting a load of Pete with his shaggy hair, skinny jeans, more tattoos and wearing his designer duds which included the DKNY-affiliated jeans OF HIS OWN. Maybe Pete's got on one of the ridiculous designer sweaters or trenches he's into lately too, and Patrick sees Pete and is just like, whoa. This is the same dude who pisses on everything like he's marking his territory and makes noise in my basement?

And Pete's like, "Yeah, I piss on things a little less. Sort of. Turns out that it's a little more effective to just invest in my own clothes or label instead."
