schmerica: (gerard's always been my older brother)

Things I did yesterday: ate too much yummy holiday food, watched It's a Wonderful Life with my family, listened to Christmas carols play while it snowed outside, curled up by the glow of the fireplace with my family, wrote underage Waycest comment fic with [livejournal.com profile] impertinence.

ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERS.

(It involves Gerard obsessing over how puberty ruins everything with sexuality polluting the innocence of childhood, a la Peter Pan. And Mikey being extremely persuasive. And them having a special connection. Um. Yeah.)

Anyway. This picture makes me happy in my soul:

Now I need to figure out some way to get ahold of Voyage of the Damned for the sister and me. Life is complicated!

Oh, Hemmy. One day, you're going to wake up as a person and just BITCHSLAP Pete clear across the country, aren't you?

Does that make it better or worse? I'm not even sure anymore.

I think it's because Pete has them on over his hood. It ruins the suspension of disbelief!

He terrifies me in that pic for some reason. It may be that I cant define where his eye hides behind his hair or the way his hair is pretty much longer than mine (thats never been a problem before, but who knows.) but I am somewhat scared.

Good to know he shares his Christmas bells though. That is an important part of the holiday.

It may be the missing eye. Granted it happens a lot with Pete, but its just that STRAND is hiding it. I dont know.

I'm not sure either. My thought was that if Pete wears it then at least we know when he's coming around the corner.

No, oh never! It means he would have to put jinglebells on OTHER people. And his dog, obvi. That way you get confused and distracted and then when HIS jingle happens, you're like "oh shit!"

We'll pretend that last part sounded as dirty as it did when I read it to my roommate, because that only makes it better.

Pete is all, "Hey, I don't do anything to you I wouldn't do to myself!"

That logic doesn't work on Patrick, but it just might on Hemmy.

Well, the thing is, Hemmy's pretty easy. At least, easier than Patrick. Patrick generally requires higher stakes bribery than snausages and tummy scritches. Unless he's drunk, then tummy scritches might be enough.

I'm pretty sure that's the right response. Really. A vaguely buzzed Patrick flopped on the couch, watching cheesy sci-fi movies with pete while Pete distractedly rubs his belly until he falls asleep.

And Pete tosses a blanket over him before he goes to bed.

it's pretty much the definition of awwwwwww.

Hemmy as a dude would be big enough to do it, too. He'd be burly and have that same unimpressed look. And Pete would be thinking "oh, shit. I'm gonna die. I knew that hoodie from Gap Kids was a bad idea."

No, no. Bob's dog form is a small terrier! (see Kerrang award acceptance video from this year)

Heee, that thought amuses me way too much.

Although I usually imagine a human Hemmy more like Patrick - he occasionally wants to bite strangle Pete until he leaves him the fuck alone, and occasionally there'd be punches thrown, but deep down he pretty much has infinite, long-suffering patience for the guy's nonsense (as evidenced by the fact that Pete's still alive and reasonably bruise-free, and FOB is still a band. *g*)

I was just at Target with my roommate. We passed a display of animal costumes and various toys, and there was a lace vest/rose collar. I told her that I bet we could talk Wentz in to dressing Hemmy like a member of Panic! At The Disco. hahaha

Oh Hemmy. I've always wanted a bulldog.
