joyfulseeker and I had an email exchange recently that led to us discussing the idea of an alternate reality where Patrick was Pete's Jeanae. And it was kind of fucked up, but kind of awesome, and in the end, Pete says things in Rolling Stone (or whatever article it was) about how sometimes he thinks they could spend the rest of their lives together while other times they can't even spend ten minutes together. And then when they break up, Patrick sells all of Pete's old band shirts, and then his Bape hoodie on Ebay. /o\

And ahahaha, okay. When I did a search for that thread, gmail also pulled up a thread I had with Zee in JULY about underage shenanigans that included this:

I've also been plagued by the requisite rainy afternoon scenario now, where Patrick's mom isn't home, and Pete comes over soaking wet. ("Yeah, I was at a friend's house a couple blocks away. Wanted to walk over and harass you for a while, and the sky just started fucking pissing on me.") Pete has a habit of walking around the house and coming to the back door because the kitchen is closer to Patrick's bedroom, and Patrick tells him he's making a puddle on the floor, so Pete kicks off his shoes and takes off his jeans. ("Dry 'em or something, right?" he says, shrugging as he grins. "Since I'm making such a mess.") Patrick says that he's not sure dropping his stuff on the floor is actually helping the situation, but Pete takes off his shirt and adds it to the pile.

He lifts his feet, one after the other, to pull off his socks last, and then Patrick's standing in jeans and a t-shirt while Pete's almost naked in his kitchen, his soaked boxerbriefs the last bit of cover. And maybe it's a few days after they've hooked up for the first time, so Patrick knows what it would look like if Pete took them off, can't stop glancing at the band of his underwear hitting low on Pete's waist. Pete notices him looking and steps closer to Patrick, says something lame about how he hasn't even been in the house ten minutes and Patrick's already got him out of his clothes.

Patrick was totally doing homework just a few minutes ago. He was battling a pretty difficult problem involving the quadratic formula before he was distracted by his... his. His dripping wet, half-naked... Pete. Are they dating now? Is Pete his boyfriend? Pete asks Patrick what he was doing to amuse himself while his mom's out and makes a wanking motion. Patrick laughs and says he was trying to finish his Geometry. Pete snorts, saying, "Dude, fuck that, my idea was better," and then they're kissing. Pete keeps fidgeting under Patrick's hands on his sides, bouncing on the balls of his feet, and finally mutters, "Shit, Patrick, it's freezing in here." They relocate to Patrick's room, tossing Patrick's textbook and folder on the floor, and Pete's hair makes the pillow all damp when he lies back on the bed, and they make out, Patrick on top of Pete.

They don't have sex right away, because Patrick really does need to finish his homework. He disentangles himself from Pete and works on his math while Pete talks out loud about whatever. Patrick stops paying attention when he gets stuck on one of the problems, trying to figure it out, and Pete starts humming pointedly. Patrick tells him to shush for, like, just a second, come on, but Pete keeps going and when he breaks off awkwardly in the middle of a bar, Patrick looks over and Pete's got his hand in his shorts, eyes closed, jacking.

"Stop, Pete," Patrick says, refusing to give in, because he's BUSY, and Pete just says, "Yeah, right. I'm stopping right now, sure," and doesn't. Patrick's lying on his stomach and Pete's sitting against the wall, nudging Patrick with his foot. Patrick eventually does give it, sits up and touches Pete's ankle, but Pete stops him from moving any further that his knee.

"Mm-mm," Pete grunts. "Yourself."

Patrick watches Pete for another minutes, gradually moving his hand to his own crotch and rubbing through his jeans. He gets up on his knees, and pulls his pants and underwear down his thighs just enough to get to his cock. He kneels closer to Pete on the bed, sitting back on his heels as they jerk off watching each other. Patrick falls to the side a bit, leaning on Pete's shoulder, and Pete comes first, immediately pushing Patrick back so that he can kneels between his legs and finish him off with his mouth.

"Told you my idea was better," he says after Patrick comes, and Pete swallows, and Patrick can't even argue.

Ohhh, underage Pete/Patrick. How I still long for your epic romance!

It's not like Pete doesn't have plenty of experience faking being cooler than he is, though. It's like 80% of his life, so. And if this kid doesn't know any better than to think Pete is made of awesome, well. Okay.
