I officially declare that in all college AUs ever, Gerard should totally fill the role of Pretentious Liberal Arts Student of Morally Superior Bisexuality. You guuuuuuuys, he would be so good at it! Everybody's naturally bisexual, just some people won't admit it to themselves! It's not that there's anything wrong with monosexuality, he's not judging or anything, it's just that personally Gerard doesn't understand why anyone would want to restrict their options that way! I actually think that Gerard might have done that exactly once. Then he got righteously smacked down by Patrick the Angry Asexual and now he is much meeker and says that he's bisexual even though he isn't entirely comfortable with the implication of the binary nature of gender, which he definitely doesn't agree with.

Gender is just performance! (But he has to say that kind of quietly next to Lindsey and Jamia and Beckett because otherwise they start glaring at him. Gerard's life is SO HARD.)
