I am somewhat fond of my fandom.

Ugh, you guys, sometimes I really do love this fandom ridiculously much. There's just something obscenely charming about My Chem's apparent pressing need to display their love for each other publicly and on their bodies at all times.

An incomplete list:

+ Gerard writing MIKEY on the side of his neck during Projekt Revolution
+ Gerard wearing a pin of Lyn-Z on his stupid jean jacket
+ Mikeyway wearing an Umbrella Academy t-shirt

(I am pretty sure Fall Out Boy is very fond of this game as well, particularly between Pete and Patrick, but to be honest, the only thing that's stuck in my mind there is Pete's post-Summer of Like Mikeyway pin decorating his hoodie. I have an OTP, shut up.)

I love how much they love each other. ♥

GOD I love them all so ridiculously much. The way they all clearly so adore each other, with Frank referring to them as his "family" and all the wearing stuff showing their love for each other fills me with glee. Although the way they all wear each other's clothes ALL THE FUCKING TIME is really just as awesome. It seems like there is no clear delineation whatsoever which t-shirts belong to which band member, they just throw on whatever is handy when they're getting dressed.

There's an explanation of OGNEP in the chemicalromance post with the pic of Ray in an UA shirt. I quote:

For all of you that asked what's OGNEP here's the explanation.
There's this large community on the internet called Orkut (and I'm sure that a lot of you heard about it). It was created a community called "My Chemical Romance Brasil" and inside there was a chat and somoeone said:
'O Gerard Não É Perfeito' = OGNEP
O Gerard Não é Perfeito, the translation is 'Gerard isn't perfect'.

A boy made a t-shirt out of it and somehow gave it to Mikey Way.
OGNEP is not a 'i hate gerard' thing. I belive it was something related to all people that go teenie about Mr. Way.

I've been wondering if Frank and Mikey are in some kind of love-showing competition. Frank sees Mikey's Umbrella Academy love and raises him a shirt with Mikey's name on it, but Mikey counters with a shirt with Gerard's face! Frank will have to break out the "I <3 Gerard" shirt he wore last fall again.
