I saved this to my computer on Friday, and all weekend I've kept coming back to stare at it. I don't think I can even pin down what I like so much about it, but I really do. They're all sitting on the floor! There's Bob, looking adorable and small, curled up in himself alone to the side, and Frank all sullen, and Gerard being dorky and pretty and weirdly natural, like he's in the middle of something, and Mikey sprawled out and leaning into his brother the whole way, and Ray ... Ray mostly just looks like he wants to have sex with Mikey, but I like that, too.

In other new, my sister and I are about to go out to Target. YAY FOR FIELD TRIPS. I think we will listen to the Cab on repeat for the whole twenty minute car ride.

OH MAN THEY TOTALLY DID. Frank totally purposely scooted farther away from Bob when the photographer wasn't paying attention. And Bob is kind of devastated by the whole thing and cutting himself off from everybody (because they love him, but they love Frank more, you know?)

Ummm, wow. I love EVERYTHING about that picture: Mikey's legs; Bob being caught off-guard; Gerard looking like he's about to babble on about some concept and german films; Ray being all "IC WHUT U DID THAR" (or something, I don't know, he seems mysterious!). I don't even know WHAT Frank is doing but I approve of the Bob spat as long as they made up after.

In my made-up scenario for this picture, Frank was just trying to sit in Bob's lap, and took it to the point where Bob is all "NO SRSLY STOPPIT. >:(". So Bob's still hunched/has his leg kind of up like that to ward off lap-invading, and Frank's like "FINE. Look, I'm not even DOING anything now." Gerard was in the middle of telling them to play nicely when the camera went off.

My first thought was "Frank looks like a hostage in a bank robbery". Then I looked around and went "well, that means the reason Bob's holding his ribs is because he tried to take down one of the gunmen and got kicked repeatedly in the side for his efforts". Gerard, of coure, is trying to talk the gunmen down. Mikey is sitting in the back going "of course we picked the one bank where there was a robbery in progress to make a withdrawal".

...I really think I just have to take the stereotypical route here nad simply flail about their little FACES. And how they all seem to need a hug and maybe some cookies. Oh, man. Bob!! And Frank! And Ray's hair looks all flattened and woeful, too. Also, huh, I am developing a weird fascination with Gerard's shoes in this picture. *has no idea where that's coming from*

Oh, and ALSO, how much do I love how Frank is sitting? Guys hardly EVER sit that way because they're all "oh, it's so uncomfortable, how do you do that??" (in my experience, anyway) and it just makes me weird happy.
