Seriously, you guys, I love Alias so hard. I went back into my rewatch this week, and I've finished the first half of season three, and just ... this show. This is ridiculous and over the top in every conceivable way. The relationships between the character jump up and down all over my buttons like a freaking trampoline. It has the most shameless retcons I think I will ever see if I live to be a hundred. Every single place they could have stopped and gone "Hmm, too much?" they shook their head and said "NOT ENOUGH."

Oh, the triumph of awesomeness over coherence!

(I feel as though the Lauren-being-evil thing should make me angry -- would make me angry on any other show -- but on Alias it's just hilarious. The same way Syd's past two years revelation should have been a let down, because having it be her own idea is so stupid, but also fits in perfectly with a history of stupid plans. And then there's things like everybody breaking her out of federal custody, and Jack doing surgery, and tons of Bristow hugs, and Isabella Rossellini, and just. OH, SHOW.)

Also, there was new How I Met Your Mother today. It was pretty awesome. Woo!

Oh, Alias! Season two will always be my favorite, because I have a mad crush on Lena Olin, but three is so full of ridiculous awesome and hilarity. You just sort of have to suspend logic and expectations and normal considerations of stupid for that show and be FULL OF JOY. Although my favorite thing about season three is probably how afterwards they were like, "Hmm, that didn't work, LET'S RE-DO SEASON ONE." I mean, who does that? <3

Sark and Will are still my most favorite things about that show, and Spy Daddy. And yeah, the whole Lauren is evil thing should've been horrible but it was really just awesome.
