Haha, me too! I keep thinking of all these fics I'm gonna write, and then I realize they're not actually going to just magically appear, which sucks. A lot.

I wish I was an inventor. I'd invent this helmet thing, kinda like that perm machine thingy, and you'd just sit down and think about your plot bunny and after like five minutes it'd plop out a finished fic/novel/goat. It would be awesome!

The Bob/Brian/Gerard one! What happens when Bob joins the band? Or what was Brian thinking?

pearl-o: I think the gerard/brian relationship hears kind of develops directly into a less sexual one. like, i think what gerard really needs is sort of ... attention. someone who can make him feel like he really exists, is really here. and it sort of plays naturally into the way gerard and brian interact before gerard gets sober, with all the phone calls and dependence.
lordessrenegade: *nods* yeah, i can see that. because i mean...clearly they have some kind of deep and important and clingy relationship....whether they're fucking or not is kind of irrelevant.

pearl-o: So when Bob joins the band, he probably doesn't have any idea whether or not Gee and Brian or still fucking. I could kind of see him asking Brian -- like, dude, it doesn't matter either way, I'm still joining the band, but what's the story? Or I could just see him, you know, wondering but not talking about it.
lordessrenegade (10:31:06 PM): *nods* i think he probably wouldn't ask? but he'd angst about it. and he'd be watching them, looking for clues. and he'd see them being all clingy and touchyfeely, so he'd just assume that they still were. and then in the course of conversation he'd say something about it and brian would be like DUDE. NO.
pearl-o (10:31:28 PM): ooh, that makes sense.
lordessrenegade (10:32:28 PM): because like...i can see him thinking that it's none of his business so he shouldn't ask. but then he and brian will be talking about something or other, and he'll say something that implies he thinks they're together, and brian will just shut down that line of thought real quick.
pearl-o (10:33:17 PM): yeah, totally.
pearl-o (10:33:39 PM): he wouldn't ask, but he would assume.

Heeee. I don't know, that felt like an ending place! I realize that that story doesn't really have what most people would call a plot, but it's more of a plot than I have for anything that comes after.

ahahaha, the thing is, with the new canon, I feel as though Lyn-Z is way too cool in that universe, you know? She's not nearly nerdy and fat and losery enough, so I don't feel like I can write more about that Gerard and Lyn.

You see, LynZ is not *actually* cool, she just sits by herself in the back of the class drawing corpses &c. and no one pays her any mind except to occasionally say "Oh, that weird art girl"

Except that Gerard is such a loser that he looks at LynZ, who the other day in art class presented a Zombie Unicorn made of collaged war images, and sees her as this fucking goddess

(and yeah, ok, she masterminded the thing with the fire. But Jimmy's the one who actually *did* it. So while she gets to serve detention for it, he's the one who gets all the points for being "crazy rebel cool")
