schmericaI have decided that I want the AU where Mikeyway is off in the city being a temp worker being a boring clerical office drone and then he and Pete meet one day on Mikeyway's morning commune. Because! You know that Pete is That Guy, the one who sits next to you even though there are still empty suits around. The one who strikes up a conversation even though you are clearly listening to your iPod and avoiding eye contact. Maybe even the one who maybe sees you at a show a couple weeks back and lands a subtle inquiry with your good friend Gabe or Alicia to find out who you are and stalks you a little and figures out your schedule and carefully plans when the best time might be to approach you, because you have to think of these sorts of thing and what would make the best story to tell everybody about how you two got together.
