Brain-Eating Good Challenge
21/4/03 18:42Hey, fanfiction writers! Haven't you ever sat around, reading story after story, and thought to yourself, "These are good and all... but what they could *really* use are some zombies."
We thought so.
We'd like to present the Brain-Eating Good Challenge. Multi-fandom, any pairing or rating -- the only requirement is that the story features zombies in a central role.
Lex and Clark deal with meteor zombies. Harry and Draco don't need to worry about their relationship; they're more worried about why Ron is still walking after being beheaded. Seven years ago, Buffy Summers came to Sunnydale with a purpose: to find more brains to devour.
Use your imagination -- zombies go with everything!
The deadline is June 21st, 2003. You can leave a link in the comments to this entry, or this one in
fox1013's livejournal, or send the story in an email to zombies@innergeekdom.net.

21/4/03 19:35 (UTC)Last summer, my mother told me that she'd seen a Discovery Channel documentary on zombies, and went on to tell me some of the things the documentary had discussed, including, of course, brains.
I, of course, channelled my not-so-inner Buffy geek and said, "Zombies don't eat brains anyway unless instructed to by their zombie masters. A lot of people get that wrong."
And Mom replied, "I *know*!" in a can-you-believe-how-silly-people-are? kind of voice.
Mom rules.
