Center Parts and Awkward Smiles by impertinence. I hereby claim this story in the name of all Pearl-os everywhere, okay? High school AU Pete/Mikey, with asshole Pete, nonchalant Mikey, and belated realizations. Imp, you make me think totally creepy thoughts about making you write bandslash stories for nonstop forever. play it again sam (and this time make it count) by sathinks. Mikey fic! Oh, man, this presses like ten different buttons for me. Pete/Mikey and Alicia/Mikey, and it gives weight to both of them and treats them with respect. The Pete/Mikey relationship is sad and bittersweet, but still hopeful and happy in its own way; even if they didn't make it as a couple, they're still friends, and they've both turned out all right. Also, Mikey judging karaoke!

In other news, bandom's reaction to the news of Frank and Jamia's wedding just reminds me why this is my favorite fandom of ALL TIME.
