1 the decemberists - song for myla goldberg (which came up random on my itunes very recently, it reminds me of tonguetwisters in choir class)
3 - they might be giants - birdhouse in my soul
4 - barenaked ladies - if i had a million dollars
5 - le tigre - deceptacon

. . . i feel like if i answer them all you get to post another one. . .

6 - madonna - you can dance
8 - rem - man on the moon
12 - jill sobule - resistance song (which was in my head earlier today, the "and i had a small mustache" bit)
15 - the pixies - dead

i go away now. (;

i don't want to write this paper.

neither do i want to whine to you on aim, though, cos that's mean.

fun things to do on sunday, maybe?

Eee, look at you and your brilliance.

Re: the Decemberists -- I think "unique New York" is really one of the hardest tongue twisters to say. That and "red leather, yellow leather."

And fun things on Sunday would be very nice.

Also! I wanted to ask you if you know who I have to go to about my mailbox, what with the key being lost. I kind of haven't check my mail in a week now.
Posted by [identity profile] hobbledehoy.livejournal.com
i would suggest going to the mail window to try to get your mail, but you'll have to report your lost key to housing eventually and pay to get it replaced.

now figuring out what kind of fun things is the hard part (as i choke on my popcorn). i'd been thinking of going to a bookstore to read the grim grotto but i don't know.

tossing lavender leather into the tongue twister makes it worse. but yeah, unique new york is renound for being the hardest. . . i am good at it mostly because of choir classes - we always did the long version that they use in the song. i almost feel like it's a tribute. (smile) i saw the decemberists live at sasquatch last year. it was great. i was right in front of the accordion. literally *right* in front.

Dammit. I recognize two of the songs, but I can't remember who sings them (although one of them has been sung by many people in the past).

If the one that's been sung by many people is #2, I'll pretty much accept whatever for that -- I know my version of it is a very recent cover.

Okay, then! Number two is "We'll Meet Again" by Johnny Cash (in my version it is, at least.)

Number seventeen is "Ecerything's Alright" from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar - sung by at least as many people as number two.

Today's random trivia: Michael Stipe wrote "Man on the Moon" 'cause he wanted a song with more "yeah"s in it than one of Kurt Cobain's. Heh.
