As I told Nifra, any story whose second word is "fucked" is all right by me. This is lovely and hot and porny and I can't think of enough good things to say about. Except wah! In my head there's an epilogue where they eventually get it together and Ray goes to live in Canda with Fraser and they're all Canadian shack-y.
In the meantime, Dief expresses my opinion of Fraser v.well.*g*

If it makes you feel better, I have the hopeful "But they should fix it some day!" feeling, too. It just wasn't in the story for me and Nif to write. *sniff*
