Things To Be Happy About, July 2nd, 2005 Edition: A List
by Pearl-o, aged 20 years and six months
1. I have a cute new haircut!
2. Livejournal and its regular delivery of porn and/or funniness to me! Not to mention, you know, the dozens and dozens of totally awesome people I never would have in my life without it.
3. I like books!
4. Coke with Lime is sweet sweet crack!
5. Arrival of Deadwood season 2 episodes from qe2 yesterday!
6. I get to bake this weekend! And cook! And lots of exciting kitchen shenanigans!
7. New ac adapter for my computer will be arriving before the end of the week, and I can stop having to share with my family! (Sharing does not equal caring, I don't care what propaganda they're trying to sell you.)
8. I am entertaining myself thinking about babyfic to write for lalejandra! Because she is just that squishy, apparently. *heart*
9. My parents are not doing fireworks this year, so I do not have to be the Party Pooper Boring Girl who Hates Them and Thus Is Automatically Assigned Dog Freak-out Control Duty!
10. Ray and Fraser are totally in love! <3<3<3<3<3<3!
11. See #10, only replace "Ray and Fraser" with any of my other OTPs. Unless it is Simon and River, in which case "are so totally creepy and wrong and perfect! <3<3<3<3<3<3!" is more appropriate.
12. I just like the number twelve.

3/7/05 01:39 (UTC)Also I'm sorry to inform you that everything is about ME. It's, like, a fundamental law of physics.

3/7/05 02:29 (UTC)(no subject)
3/7/05 02:31 (UTC)It will probably be first three seasons-ish, and subtextual to the point of practically being gen. Except we will know the DIRTY DIRTY TRUTH.
*cough*

3/7/05 02:40 (UTC)Watchers and Slayers, man. You KNOW there's a whole thing there.
(no subject)
3/7/05 03:27 (UTC)You should tell me more about it. In dirtywrong detail, even.

3/7/05 02:01 (UTC)I appreciate your thoughts on the matter. In fact I encourage you to always challenge me when you feel it's appropriate. You should never be cowed by authority. Except, of course, in this instance when I am clearly right and you are clearly wrong.
/*GILES VOICE*
If you keep this up, my dear, I may need to organize a coup!

3/7/05 02:03 (UTC)I SUPPOSE it's all right -- more for you, less for me, right? I'd just better not see them encroaching onto my half of the clubhouse cooler!

2/7/05 23:55 (UTC)Now I am thinking of Ray and Fraser having a conversation where Ray describes their lives as squishy.
Ray: *sits in chair, holding on lap and bottle of beer in one hand* What are you writing to them about? Don't tell them all that, it's boring.
Fraser: *using special Ray-specific What the Hell Are You Talking About? voice* Boring?
Ray: Our lives are totally boring, Fraser.
Fraser: Ray, we're a Mountie and an ex-American detective who retired to the Canadian Arctic after solving the three decade old murder of my mother, in a case involving Russian arms and a nuclear submarine, and who are now raising an exceptionally intelligent child with the help of a sentient half-wolf. What could possibly be boring about our lives?
Ray: It's boring, Fraser. Happy endings are always boring.
Fraser: Hmmph.
Ray: Boring and squishy. Nobody wants to hear about that.

i am all about the actions today! ACTIONS!!!!!!
Fraser: Ray, I find nothing squishy about our lives.
Ray: Fraser, you are a PERV.
(no subject)
3/7/05 01:40 (UTC)Ray: Fraser, you are a PERV.
I love you times INFINITY. It's funny because it's truuuuuuuuuue!
Fraser: I don't see how that's perverted at all, Ray.
Ray: Look, you know I got no problem with you being a perv -- I mean, it's the basis of our whole groove thing -- but there's a kid right here!
Fraser: I don't believe she actually understands anything we're saying, Ray. Carrie?
Carrie: Dada!
Ray: That is not the POINT.

3/7/05 00:23 (UTC)also?
