schmericaLast night I sat down to watch Battlestar Galactica on NBC, because my friends list has been talking nonstop about its awesomeness since it came out.
OMIGOD I WAS SO BORED. I managed to sit out the whole first hour, but then I turned the TV off before the next two they were showing.
I think there are several lessons here.
LESSON ONE: The tenth episode in a series is a really lousy place to start watching because you are confused out of your mind.
LESSON TWO: There are few things more boring than space battles, especially in conjunction with Lesson One.
LESSON THREE: None of this would be a problem if I had cable, dammit. I miss Sci-Fi Channel and the Food Network and VH1 and Comedy Central. I sulk!
