Sometimes I have thoughts.

+ Watching many, many, many, many episodes of QI on youtube. Oh, Stephen Fry, why so darling?

+ VIDDING WOOOOOOO. Rough draft has been achieved! My normal vid pokey people aren't familiar with the source, which is a bother, though. Stupid not particularly fannish movies that happen to be really visually rich and interesting!

+ Also about vidding, I made this post almost a year ago, but everything I say in it is still absolutely true. On the other hand, vidding is maybe *slightly* less difficult now, because the new laptop is much less weak and wimpy and sad than the old one, and I can actually see things now! Cool.

+ Reading posts about last night's BSG has made me sort of want to watch it for the first time since I disgustedly abandoned it at the beginning of the season. Not for the [SPOILER], obviously, but for the rumored sexy bits.

+ I downloaded Heroes already, but I'm waiting to watch it live with Spes tonight anyway. I'm full of contradictions like that.

+ In conclusion, VIDDING EEEEEEE.

Man, I am finding season three of Battlestar Galactica hella frustrating. I liked this Friday's episode better than the premiere, but the premiere rated fairly high on my tv disappointment scale. (Me at the beginning of s1 bsg: "This is kind of boring. I'll give it a try though." Me at the end of s2 bsg: "Wow, over the last thirty episodes I have somehow become emotional invested in this show and care about the characters. Cool!" Me at the end of 3x02: "Wow, way to make me hate every single person, there. Except you, Old Man. I still like you. PS CKR YOU ARE SO FUCKING HOT DO ME NOW.")

Anyway. Tonight was Heroes! But I have no TV! Seriously, Monday and Thursday nights are my tragedy. Thank the lord for bit torrent. Hopefully I will have it waiting for me when I get home from school tomorrow.

[livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl made an entry earlier writing to her DS Sekrit Santa person, where she mentioned that one of the things she asked for was, um, something kinda of dirty that not everyone liked. And I was like HEY WHAT A COINCIDENCE. And then I made a list in her comments of things that were, in fact, dirtier than what either of us has asked for.

I got this far:

+ watersports
+ scat
+ bestiality (this includes if Dief is in human form or someone else in wolf form)
+ Benton/Bob
+ Fraser/any of his other father figures, including Quinn or Welsh
+ Fraser chan (and seriously, if you're defining that as 13+, I would eat that up with a spoon. Imagine if his first sexual experience was from a woman, like, ten years older than him or something!)

But then I ran out of ideas. Although looking at it now, I totally left off necrophilia, and that's an easy one! Oops.

Also, I'm now up to 2x11 in Battlestar Galactica, because I've had nothing else to do today, and, um. I think I might be shipping Roslin/Adama.

[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: i'm slightly worried that part of my head is shipping roslin/adama. in that way where i don't actually want them to ever have sex, kiss, or be in any sort of romantic relationship? but still.
[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: WHAT THE HELL.
[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: *disgusted with self*

[livejournal.com profile] fox1013: Erica!
[livejournal.com profile] fox1013: that is almost canon and that is HET.
[livejournal.com profile] fox1013: *shakes you*

[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: ...I like canon het, dude.
[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: Remember?
[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: I'm CRAZY and UNPREDICTABLE.

I. Seriously, I have no idea where this came from. What are you up to, brain?

In other news, spoilers for Pegasus and Resurrection Ship Part 1 )

I am home sick today, which is a massive pain in the ass, since I have things to do. I am also in the midst of hellish PMS and craving a bazillion different foods, none of which are here. MY KINGDOM FOR A PINT OF DOVE ICE CREAM AND SOME POTATO PANCAKES.

Here, have my thoughts on Battlestar Galactica. In the last couple days I've watched all of season 1, and I'm through 2x06 in season 2.

Not particularly gleeful )

Now I'm gonna go do greek homework and wait for Heroes to download.

Last night I sat down to watch Battlestar Galactica on NBC, because my friends list has been talking nonstop about its awesomeness since it came out.

OMIGOD I WAS SO BORED. I managed to sit out the whole first hour, but then I turned the TV off before the next two they were showing.

I think there are several lessons here.

LESSON ONE: The tenth episode in a series is a really lousy place to start watching because you are confused out of your mind.

LESSON TWO: There are few things more boring than space battles, especially in conjunction with Lesson One.

LESSON THREE: None of this would be a problem if I had cable, dammit. I miss Sci-Fi Channel and the Food Network and VH1 and Comedy Central. I sulk!
