I am busy trying to write fic for [livejournal.com profile] lalejandra which I know for a fact that nobody in the world but her and me will be remotely interested in, but I never mind distractions while I'm writing, so:

Ask me for "top five" lists of pretty much anything, and I will list you my top five of that thing or things.

Hit me. I reserve the right to not answer, naturally.

This is off the topic of my head, and thus could probably change around at any time, but--

The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin
From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsberg
The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman
Sorcery and Cecelia by Patricia Wrede and Caroline Stevermer
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares

Hee. I actually have a horrible sense of smell, so this is kind of hard for me. Also, I don't know if you mean, like, scents to wear, or just things I think smell good. I'll go with the mixture of the two.

5 top scents:

1. Frying onions
2. Strawberry
3. Coconut
4. Fresh basil
5. Library and/or new books

I meant things that you think smell good. *g*
And I am totally with you with strawberry, fresh basil and books. Frying onions only when I am hungry. And coconut, uh, not so much.
Thanks for the answer. :)

1. A long background stories about Fraser's childhood that start from before his mother died and go all the way through his adolescense and young adulthood and then all through the show until happy ending with Ray Kowalski time.

2. A Buffy/Giles story that magically hits every single one of my buttons for that pairing, even the ones I don't know I have.

3. A really really kinky dirty F/K porn story with bootporn and leather and pearl necklaces and incestuous threesomes and fisting and rimming and basically every random-ass kinky thing you can think of, in a way that actually makes a bizarre amount of sense.

4. Fraser/Frannie that is BAD and WRONG.

5. Hope/Curtis fic for Twitch City.

Honorable mention: Wilby fic that is long and sweet and sad and feels like the movie. Only maybe with a little more kissing.

I am STILL THINKING about the non-ds porny fic. It is sad that I am coming up with, like, nothing here.

Top 5 action films.
Top 5 comedies.

The action movie question is really hard because a) I don't know what counts as action movies and b) I'm pretty sure I don't like very many of them. So, uh, basically I am guessing.

Lord of the Rings
Raiders of the Lost Ark
X2
Pirates of the Caribbean
Tombstone

For comedies, there's probably ten other movies I could easily put in this list without even blinking. But I'll say:

Princess Bride
Young Frankenstein
Clue
Josie & the Pussycats
The Royal Tenenbaums

Top five aspects of Ray Vecchio.

1. His hotheadedness/capacity for violence. Ray Vecchio is never hotter than when he is beating someone up or threatening to beat someone up.

2. His protectiveness -- of Fraser, of his family, that whole sort of consummate big brother thing he carries around.

3. The fact that in his head, he seems to really believe he is the smoothest guy that ever lived.

4. Despite #3, he actually is genuinely charming.

5. Because I am a helpless and devout fangirl and love Benton Fraser to death, I have to count #5 as how much Ray Vecchio obviously loves and cares about Fraser. I may not slash them, but their friendship is pure.
