Um, how come nobody ever informed me before that Meg Cabot's blog is basically the best thing ever? You are all FIRED. I am slightly saddened by the fact that she does not have direct links to each entry, because the July 25, 2005 entry is basically the best thing I have ever read in my life. <3<3<3.
Anybody want to link me to more interesting blogs? I am mostly interesting in book-y things, or to a lesser extant, food.
My blog bookmarks right now consist of the following:
+ Bookslut
+ Neil Gaiman's Journal (although, actually, I need to catch up here, as I have not been reading for months)
+ The Daily Bread: a food blog
+ Go Fug Yourself
+ Smart Bitches, Trashy Books (also a new find which I am entertaining myself with)
+ Meg's Diary!
+ Making Light
Rec other interesting blogs, people? Livejournals I do not already know about are good, too, especially if book or food centric.

And, okay, EVERYTHING SHOULD BE SYNDICATED. That is my wish for the Internet Of The Future. I'm all, "You mean I actually have to *go* to these blogs? They won't just show up on my f'list? SO MUCH WORK."

5/8/05 19:47 (UTC)OMG I KNOW. WHY MUST I GO TO MORE THAN ONE SITE? WHY HAS LJ NOT TAKEN OVER THE WORLD YET?

5/8/05 20:42 (UTC)Any site you go to that has an RSS or XML button can have an LJ feed, all you have to do is set it up:
http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=137
If one already exists, it will give you the info. If not, you get to name the feed!
I find it much easier to go through the motions of setting up a feed rather than looking through the thousands of feed names looking for the one I want.
My favorite blog/LJ feed is Overheard In New York:
