I have a weird and completely unsupported theory that Benton Fraser is prone to use the word "prick" when using vulgar slang for penis, rather than the more common "cock" alternative.

You know? If due South did have pairing portmanteaus? They would be FRAY and RAZOR. That is kind of the best thing ever.

I have been rereading Dinosaur Comics all week because of [livejournal.com profile] moireach and [livejournal.com profile] annakovsky. DAMN THEM. Also, uh, last night in Kovsky's journal I seem to have written a CKR/T-Rex crossover. Uh, apparently they have poker nights together where they gossip about how much they like Kovsky! And then they get drunk and make out and play scrabble! Who knew?

...Don't judge me, OKAY?

Also, [livejournal.com profile] rayk97s is still open for sign-ups! You should all consider coming and playing and having lots of fun with us all! [livejournal.com profile] minervacat and I will smile upon you and think you're nifty-cool. (If you're not signing up because you don't know the music, you can email either of us and we can arrange to take care of that!)

Ideas which I had during my insomnia last night that I am never going to write:
a) Wilby femslash Sandra/Carol
b) AU where Muldoon killed Bob and not Caroline

Discuss.

I am also not opposed to him thinking 'erection'.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks about this kind of thing!

Oh, erection definitely works! That's more common, even, I think, because it's still slightly euphemistic. The others are much more in your face.

Heeee. I think you are FAR from the only one who thinks about these things!

Heh. "In your face."

And it comforts me to know that there are other people out there thinking about Fraser's relationship with the word 'erection'.

Heh. "In your face."

Heee. Oh, adolescent double entendres!

"Ray's erection is over there. Ray's cock is in Fraser's mouth."

There's Fraser's relationship with the word 'erection' and then there's Fraser's relationship with Ray's erection.

Both are interesting in their own way.

That is very, very true. *mulls over the relationships in a completely academic and disinterested fashion*

And let us not neglect Fraser's confused, complex, and tormented relationship with his *own* erection.

Not that I think he has much of a hands-on relationship, as it were. I don't see him extrapolating his unspoken desires for Ray to such actions.

I am not entirely certain I agree! I think a definite argument can be made for Fraser having a relatively active masturbatory habit. It's only healthy, you know. (Although he probably does refrain from sexual fantasies about his coworkers and friends. Spoilsport.)

Honestly, I can see it both ways. I have a certain affection for self-denial!Fraser, but also for longing-for-Ray's-touch!Fraser.

And most of the time I think that if he did happen to think of Ray while engaged in such activity, he'd feel *very* guilty about it afterwards.

OH FRASER.

Somehow I find it very easy to imagine the Fraser who is all "Sex is a normal and necessary part of human life, Ray. It's nothing to be ashamed or embarassed about. It's part of nature. Blah blah blah blah blah blah." Hmmmm.

"Sex is a normal and necessary part of human life, Ray. It's nothing to be ashamed or embarassed about. It's part of nature. Blah blah blah blah blah blah."

... "Unless, of course, it's penguin bukkake."

"Penguin what, Fraser?"

"It's actually an interesting concept, Ray, though highly improbable - nigh on impossible - in nature."

And then Dief would snort.

(But until he knew that his interest/attraction was returned, I really think he'd be uncomfortable with that as an outlet. I don't imagine Fraser allowing himself a rich sexual fantasy life - Victoria put him off that pretty well.)

I don't think the being comfortable with the masturbation necessarily implies the sexual-fantasy-about-people-who-knows, though, you know what I mean? I don't think Fraser would let himself jack off a lot thinking about Ray, but that doesn't mean he doesn't jack off.

Maybe I just like to think about Fraser jerking off while thinking about Ray.

Mmmmmmmm Fraser LONGING.

Fraser! Ray! You are both idiots! I know it is pretty when you pine for each other (see: CKR in CotW) but it is NOT necessary when you are so obviously GAY FOR EACH OTHER.

Longing is fun (to read about, anyway) but culmination of longing in passionate making-out and blowjobs is BETTER.
