I am having a grumpy hormonal week, and to top it all off, my face is breaking out. Boo.

God, I think that's going to be me at dinner tonight. I'm going out with a group of friends, all of whom I love individually (well, to varying extents), but whose chief topics of conversation, when they're assembled as a group, are boys and wedding planning.

I'm at work and also cranky and breaking out. People are sending me emails like "Why haven't you responded to the complaint I sent a month ago?" when the forwarded complaint has an obvious typo in my email address. Happy things:
1. I'm listening to the below-mentioned Mike Doughty song I Hear the Bells. Also Gillian Welch.
2. I've been having a fling with the UK Queer as Folk, and dragging others along with me.
3. Our office accountant was cleaning out her closet and randomly brought in a skirt to give me.
