Okay, I've given Studio 60 three tries, and I'm giving up. It's a good show, but it just ... nothing has grabbd me yet. All the characters are kind of the same, and they're all really cranky. So, three strikes and you're out: sorry, new show! I tried!

Although I find it somewhat hilarious that Sorkin stuck in a whole defense of why doing coke is morally superior to drinking alcohol. Um, okay!

Heroes, on the other hand, I am totally in love with after two episodes. I make loud sounds of BWEEEEEEEEEE. More now please!

I am currently downloading season one of Battlestar Galactica -- I saw the miniseries and the first episode before and didn't care for it too much, but I figure I'll give it one more try.

I totally agree with you about Heros, especially about, well, Hiro. He's adorkable to the extreme and I am intrigued by his storyline. Such a cool show. Yay!

Oh man, the brothers skeeve me. They skeeve me so hard. And then they get all slashy and that skeeves me. Not because it's incest, because, um, hello SPN! but just... ew. The way their dynamic is set up is just... ew. The younger brother is way too creepy and older brother way too-- him for them to work for me in any way.

I appreciate them as characters but I can't like them.

OMG I didn't even want to mention the incest thing, because Zee has this weird theory I'm squicked by m/m incest, but it's so true! It's THERE and it's GROSS. That little drawing!

The younger brother is way too creepy obsessed with the older brother for me to even begin to stomach them. I began to like the older brother a little more after last ep, but as I did, I liked younger brother less. It's going to take a lot of work and character building for me not to sit through their scenes in a sort of fascinated horror and squick.

Dude, totally. The younger brother's whole speech in the first episode about how their mother just doesn't understand their relationship, and how he and his older brother have a connection...jesus christ, if they weren't related, he would be a stalker. He's so puppy-dog desperate that he seems more excited that he and older brother can fly together than he is about the fact that he can fly at all, because it confirms his obsessive need for a connection with his older brother, that they're special and have a special connection.

Skeevy, yeah, but its got some awesome fic potential. *g*

I dunno, when I go for incest fic I'm generally in the mood for fucked-up narcissistic obsessiveness, so that dynamic actually works for me. *g*
