Further: let's return to yesterday's discussion of Avril Lavigne as Slayer and Callum as her Watcher. Do we need to take this into consideration?

(For that matter, let's talk about the possibility of Buffy/Giles pegging. After all, one of the most fascinating aspects of Watcher/Slayer romantic relationships is that on the surface, it's a massive abuse of power, but when you stop and think, it's not, because of things like where the Slayer is clearly the more powerful person in the relationship. On the one hand, pegging arguably buys into the old 'penis=power' equation. On the other hand, it's completely turning that equation on its ear. Buying into the dominant ideology, or subverting it?)

Additionally: why are there not more adorable girly strap-on harnesses? Stella certainly wouldn't have minded the black leather that seems to be standard -- she wouldn't have been crazy about it, but at the end of the day it wasn't nearly as important as what it was holding -- but I think Buffy would be a bit more picky, and would complain a lot about the lack of bright colors and patterns.

The thing about RayK is that, well, yes. Except that I don't know about whiny, I'm thinking more bitchy.
